Despite the full range of Scottish weather—snow, hail, torrential rain, Scotch mist and sunshine, we have had a wonderful week. We have visited:
- Gairloch Museum
- Inverewe Garden
- the World War II gun emplacements at Cove
- Flowerdale waterfall
- Rua Reidh lighthouse (challenging road!)
- Various beaches
and we have eaten in:
- Melvaig Inn
- Na Mara in strath
- Inverewe Gardens
—all excellent with very friendly service!
Had lots of peace and quiet too!
